Echo's Answer

I challenge you. Are you having a shit day? Well, I was so I did this:

I wrote down everything that was bothering me in order (roughly). I put more details under each item if there were more than one thing associated with it. For instance, for "It's cold" I wrote "fuck winter" at least 3 different ways. Then, working from bottom to top, I responded to the things that were bothering me, but not as much. I gave myself the advice I would give to someone else. That made it easier to respond to the toughest things on my list. To save myself some extra time in wallowing in bullshit, I selected it all and replaced it with another list:

Things that are good (just what came to mind by association and not necessarily in order):

1. I have a home
2. I have a job
3. I have savings
4. I have two beautiful children
5. Yoga teaching is underway
6. I have a new book to read
7. I love algebra & I am able to practice at work
8. I have a cute kitty
9. My house is comfortable
10. I have a car
11. I have good friends who check up on me
12. I'm not pregnant
13. I am fairly healthy
14. I have room to grow
15. I have lots of things in motion to grow
16. I have more things to be thankful for than to complain about.

Good luck, universe... You thought you had me!
